Apple silently updates iPad 9.7 with Retina Display, for USD 329

By | March 21, 2017

Apple announced an update to the iPad 9.7. The device now comes with a retina display, and the base model is relatively cheap. At least compared to the iPad Pro from 2016.

The new device will be available for pre-order from the apple stores from 24 March. iPad comes in silver, gold and space gray. It starts at $329 (US) for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and $459 (US) for the 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model at and from Apple Stores.

The iPad is the most popular tablet. It was the ipad that popularised tablets in the first place. And as the appeal for the tablets is waning, the iPad seemed to hold its ground a little. But the way Apple passively announced its latest device seems to point out something else.

Anyway, the cheaper iPad is certainly a great offering.
